What drives you?

On the deepest level you can think of, what are the reasons behind your goals and ambitions?

The answer is your "WHY" – and figuring it out is absolutely crucial on your journey to success.

We've said this part before: setting MASSIVE goals is the key to unlocking your true potential. But there's another important step you can't overlook: figuring out what drives you. That is your WHY.

DISCOVERING YOUR WHY

To quote motivational speaker Simon Sinek, your WHY is the purpose, cause or belief that drives you. It's why you do what you do.

Uncovering your WHY is important for a few reasons…

First, it's key to harnessing the driving force that's already inside you. When you're competing, you can't just say "I want to win." You need to know WHY. Without your WHY, you will eventually lose motivation, get stuck or not know how to move past difficult obstacles.

But also, your WHY is important for external reasons. People don’t buy WHAT you do. They buy WHY you do it. That's important because it affects who's paying attention to your goals and what kind of attention you get (positive or negative). In other words, it influences who surrounds you on your journey. Your WHY attracts people who share the same forward-thinking beliefs. That's a gamechanger.

GO DEEPER

When you ask people for their WHY, the answer often comes back to money. Nah, that's not it. Your goals can’t be about the money. Your WHY must be deeper than that.

For example, here at a.fatti, we know that all of us are capable of things BEYOND IMAGINED, and we want to inspire everyone to get there. That mindset is way bigger than a STREETLEISURE brand. It's the fuel that drives us.

For you, it could be something completely different …

A goal to change the world … innovate … create … help those in need … give back to a community … whatever excites you on a deep, deep level. (Way deeper than money ever could.)

Understanding and harnessing your WHY can propel you to new heights, in ways you never thought possible.

So let's ask it again … what's your WHY?
